University Place has no dedicated public pickleball courts, but it sits squarely in our home range — Fircrest Park is on the UP border, and we bring the net.
Where lessons happen in University Place
UP lessons usually happen at Fircrest Park, minutes from most addresses in the city whether you're near Chambers Bay or the Fircrest border, on lined tennis courts with our portable net — which matters more here than anywhere else we coach, because the city has no permanent nets of its own. Harry Todd Park in Lakewood, with permanent nets year-round, is the other close option.
Both are home courts, so there's no travel fee, and Steilacoom players are in the same boat as UP: no courts in town, ours a short drive away. If you'd rather play on a school or neighborhood court near you, we'll meet you there for a small flat fee, shown before you confirm.

Lesson formats
- Private lessons — one coach, one student, aimed at whatever is costing you points.
- Semi-private sessions — two or three students who split the hour and the cost.
- Group clinics — four to six players, priced as a total for the lesson rather than per head.

How booking works
Booking is online and takes under a minute: no account, no deposit, no prepayment. You pay at the lesson with cash, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle, and cancelling or moving a lesson is free up to 24 hours before. Both coaches compete at 4.5–5.0 DUPR, and first-timers get a new-client discount when the offer is running.
